We’re thrilled to welcome Susan Podlogar to Parentaly’s CHRO Advisory Board.
Susan was most recently CHRO at MetLife, and spent nearly 15 years in HR leadership at Johnson & Johnson. She’s known for guiding organizations through transformation while keeping people at the center.
Susan joins our board with a focus on reframing parental leave as a leadership opportunity - a moment that tests culture, impacts retention and drives continuity. She believes too many companies still approach leave inconsistently, without the proactive planning employees and teams deserve.
“Managing parental leave is challenging, yet few companies have solved this problem. Parentaly closes that gap with an approach that’s thoughtful for employees and practical for business - bringing structure, clarity and care to a critical moment. Their solutions create a win-win of business continuity and employee support.”
Her expertise in linking talent strategy to business performance makes her perspective especially valuable as we advance Parentaly’s mission to deliver solutions that benefit both organizations and employees.
Below, Susan shares her perspective on why leave is a defining business issue, what’s often missing from company approaches and how Parentaly is reshaping the conversation at the executive level.
